About this Research Topic
To submit to this collection, first authors should either be in the process of obtaining their degree or are PhD holders (or equivalent) who have gained their degree within the last 5 years. This is with the aim to support early-stage researchers, highlighting their contribution to the field and elevating their career development.
All Rising Star researchers were individually nominated by the Frontiers in Pediatrics editors in recognition of their potential to influence the future directions in their respective fields. The work presented here highlights the diversity of research performed across the entire breadth of Pediatric Cardiology and presents advances in theory, experiment and methodology with applications to compelling problems.
This Research Topic welcomes research on, but not limited to, the following themes:
- heart failure and transplantation
- inherited cardiac conditions
- cardiac development
- congenital heart disease
New articles will be added to this collection as they are published.
