About this Research Topic
Chemical pollutants entering the environment can transfer between compartments such as air, soil and water, and their fate, behavior and (eco)toxicological effects are still poorly understood. This Research Topic particularly aims to understand the environmental behavior of recent emerging chemical pollution and provide insight into the development of control strategies on emerging chemical pollution. We welcome Original Research and Review articles that describe the current state-of-the-art in the environmental behavior and control of emerging chemical pollutants.
Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:
- Environmental behavior of emerging chemical pollutants
- Environmental management of emerging chemical pollutants
- Control technology of emerging chemical pollutants
Keywords: emerging chemical pollutants, environmental behavior, environmental management, control technology, ecotoxicology
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
