The National Conference on Nano-Bio-Technology, organized by Jawaharlal Nehru University and National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi during 19-21 December, presented the impact that nanoscience has on all areas of technology. The conference has shown an important need for researchers to focus on this area to strengthen the nano-based technological advancements for developing nano-biosensors, point of care devices, and other biomedical devices based on nanomaterials. In this Research Topic, we have selected nanomaterials-based papers that deal with applications in biosensors, drug delivery, and nanotoxicity areas. The papers were contributed from different reputed Indian institutions and aim to bring together researchers working in various areas of Nanomaterials, including quantum dots, that are being used for the application in biotechnology which includes Nano-biosensors, Bioimaging, Drug delivery, Diagnostic devices, Nanotoxicity and Microbiology.
Important Note:
All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
