About this Research Topic
This Research Topic aims to highlight and collect the latest progress regarding novel catalysts for pollutants elimination including volatile organic compounds (VOCs) combustion, selective catalytic reduction of NOx with ammonia (NH3-SCR), photo-catalytic removal of VOCs and NOx. The manuscripts discussing the mechanisms of catalytic remediation via in-situ and/or operando techniques are particularly welcome. Topics to be discussed can include, but are not limited to, the following:
• H2 and/or Hydrocarbon-SCR of NOx
• NH3-SCR of NOx by using less V or non-V based metal oxide catalysts
• Novel zeolite-based NH3-SCR catalysts for NOx reduction
• VOCs combustion by using novel catalysts
• Removal of VOCs and NOx by using photo-catalysts
• Greenhouse gas CO2 conversion
• Theoretical calculations to elucidate elimination mechanisms of atmospheric pollutants
Keywords: Air Pollution Control, DeNOx, NH3-SCR, VOCs Combustion, Greenhouse Gas CO2 Conversion, Photo-Catalytic Removal
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
