About this Research Topic
Cancer and aging naturally are of relevance for endocrinology, the discipline dedicated to the study of hormones. Hormones are key players in cellular proliferation and differentiation and its integration in tissue development. In cancer development this balance is deregulated and a modified hormonal response plays an important part in this. Similarly, the production of hormones and the hormonal response is modified during development, in particular during aging.
During the 7th edition of the International Congress on « Innovative therapeutics for Cancer and Ageing diseases » held in Wuhan (China) from October 29 to 31, 2019, more than 200 experts, especially Chinese and French - Academic, Medical, Investors and Industrial players- will discuss about the latest trends in the field of cancer and aging associated diseases.
