About this Research Topic
The main objective of this Research Topic is to provide an update on the most important topics of autoimmune thyroid pathology in the pediatric age, with particular attention given to:
- Innovations in the field of etiopathogenesis
-Diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune thyroid pathology
-Experiences with the peculiarity of thyroid autoimmune pathology in genetic syndromes
-Comorbidities in autoimmune thyroid diseases and interrelation between Graves’ and Hashimoto’s diseases.
Furthermore, another focal point will be to compare how researchers and clinicians tackle the same problems with the aim of transferring the most recent innovations into daily practice, adopting shared lines of behavior, and thus strengthening the integration between pediatric endocrinologists. This will be accepted in the form of Original Research, Systematic Review, Review, Mini Review, Perspective, Clinical Trial, Case Report, Community Case Study and Opinion articles.
