Nuclear power is widely used as a highly efficient and clean energy source in the fields of industry, electricity and marine systems. It is chiefly manifested in the forms of nuclear power plants, nuclear ships, nuclear powered floating platforms, space nuclear power, and so on. A huge number of national laboratories, universities and industries are involved in researching the engineering applications of nuclear energy. Many cutting-edge results of nuclear power research appear in our field of vision each day.
The Research Topic ‘Advances in Nuclear Power Engineering’ aims to publish the most advanced and timely research results in nuclear power engineering from across the globe. The Topic Editors especially welcome authors to submit the latest research results and trends for Gen IV reactors, marine nuclear power systems, space nuclear power and nuclear fuel reprocessing. Innovative and meaningful results for Gen II, Gen II+ and Gen III reactors are equally welcomed.
