The impacts of climate change on Pakistan's agriculture sector are examined in this study at the national level with particular attention to important crops like rice wheat and sugarcane. The study investigates how these crops yield, and production are affected by rainfall annually and seasonal temperatures and other control variables. The Pakistan Economic Survey the Meteorological Department and the Climate Change Knowledge Portal (CCKP) provided the data used in this study. Agricultural output and climate variables are estimated to have long-term relationships using the Auto-Regressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model. The impact of climate change is more accurately analyzed by the ARDL approach which tackles the challenges of endogeneity by incorporating historical values of explanatory indicators. This study aids in the formulation of policies for better food production systems particularly in view of the Sustainable Development Goals and worries about climate change.
