The Master Class

The Master class is a great opportunity to go back to school! Among the guests in the Presidential Conference are wonderful instructors who together form an inspirational international University. We have asked several of these teachers to provide a unique learning experience for the guests of the conference. Each teacher was asked to discuss a topic in his/her field of expertise (with no mandatory homework for the students).
Please notice the curriculum shown below. Choose a class and come to learn!

Brain, memory, learning and forgetting
What is so unique in our brain that enables it to, so efficiently and continuously, learn and remember? What physically happens in the brain when we learn, remember and forget (e.g., in devastating diseases such as Alzheimer's)? Will we be able to read memories (brain polygraphs)? Erase memories or improve them? These and related topics will be discussed in view of recent breakthroughs in brain research
