This Research Topic aims to delve into the tribocorrosion characteristics of assorted materials within diverse operational contexts and scrutinize how surface treatments modify these properties. The investigation will focus on resolving questions regarding the influence of acidic environments on the tribocorrosion properties of various materials and evaluating the effectiveness of surface treatments like burnishing and electroless plating in enhancing tribocorrosion resistance.
