About this Research Topic
This research topic focuses on deepening the understanding of the pathophysiology of oral and head and neck cancers, while also aiming to revolutionize diagnostic and therapeutic methods. The objective is to identify critical biomarkers, unravel complex molecular pathways, refine diagnostic techniques, and tailor more effective treatment strategies. By doing so, we hope to enhance early detection and improve the prognosis for patients afflicted with these cancers.
This special issue seeks submissions that address a range of cutting-edge topics, including:
- Comprehensive analyses of pathophysiological mechanisms in oral and head and neck cancers.
- Innovations in diagnostic methods that can detect these cancers at an earlier stage.
- Evaluation of novel therapeutic approaches, such as precision medicine and immunotherapy.
- Clinical trials reporting on treatment efficacy and patient survival.
- Reviews that integrate findings from recent genomic and molecular studies.
Through these contributions, we aim to foster a better understanding of these complex cancers and drive significant advancements in their management.
