About this Research Topic
The megaproject is typically a large-scale capital project costing more than US$1 billion and causing substantial impacts on social, technical, economic, environmental and political (STEEP) dimensions in short and longer term. Whilst major infrastructure and construction projects (worth over £100 million each) aim to transform public services and deliver a robust infrastructure system that can serve future generations, lessons learnt from past megaprojects around the world have identified the need for enhanced leadership and management capability through the delivery of such large-scale construction projects across lifecycle stages.
