Contributors from various fields are encouraged to submit their work, with a focus on epidemiologic methods and data-driven actions. Manuscripts should contribute to TB epidemiologic understanding, or demonstrate the public health impact of tuberculosis interventions. The goal of this special edition Research Topic is to further our understanding of tuberculosis transmission, infection, and progression, to disseminate best practices for tuberculosis control and prevention, and to identify future challenges to provide a thorough overview of the field.
