About this Research Topic
This research topic aims to deepen our understanding of autoimmune diseases through molecular characterization. We seek to explore the intricate molecular pathways and immune responses involved in these diseases, with the goal of linking specific disease endotypes to both short-term and long-term patient outcomes. By focusing on molecular characterization, we aim to contribute to better diagnostic tools and preventive measures, ultimately improving the quality of life for individuals affected by autoimmune diseases.
To gather further insights in the molecular characterization of autoimmune diseases, we welcome articles addressing, but not limited to, the following themes:
- Molecular pathways and mechanisms underlying autoimmune diseases
- Identification and characterization of disease endotypes
- The role of molecular characterization in diagnostics and prevention
- Longitudinal studies linking molecular profiles to disease outcomes
- Novel molecular techniques and their application in autoimmune research
- Interdisciplinary approaches combining molecular biology with clinical insights
Keywords: autoimmunity, inflammation, transcriptomics, genomics, proteomics
