Heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the healthcare sector is witnessing the development and application of new technologies for diagnostics. Sensors with enhanced intelligence, precision, speed, wireless connectivity, safety, self-learning and self-recovery abilities, compactness, and standardization are currently undergoing extensive development and deployment. Sensors that do not interfere with daily life have been developed and are beginning to be used clinically.
