About this Research Topic
This research topic aims to investigate the problem related to high energy consumption and carbon emissions in the building sector, thereby providing strategies to integrate renewable energy and advanced technology, improve the energy efficiency of building energy systems and reduce carbon emissions. Research is required for advanced building materials, building envelope structures, renewable energy technologies, energy-saving behavior and thermal comfort of personnel, building performance simulation and so on. We hope to use appropriate simulation software and optimization algorithms to analyze the combination schemes between different renewable energy resources and building construction technologies. Seeking better strategies for building energy utilization and providing practical and feasible solutions for the carbon neutrality of the construction industry are also welcomed to this topic.
