About this Research Topic
In this Research Topic, we would like to create a forum for current advances in degenerative spine/disc disease surgical techniques, precise neuroimaging evaluation of DSD/DDD, the long-term prognosis, chronic spinal cord injury status associated with spinal degeneration or post-any spine surgery interventions, related challenges we are facing in understanding the underlying mechanism. Furthermore, submissions on the development of new surgical techniques and new devices that prevent further chronic spinal injury, and basic research examining the interaction between cerebrospinal fluid and spinal cord injury are also encouraged.
We welcome articles on the subjects of, but not limited to:
● Long-term outcomes of post-spinal surgery patients and how to reduce chronic spinal injury.
●Clinical evaluation and early diagnosis of chronic spinal injury associated with degenerative spine/disc disease or other spinal disease.
● Clinical management of chronic spinal injury.
● Novel imaging methods for the diagnosis of chronic spinal injury.
● Development of new surgical techniques and new devices that prevent further chronic spinal injury.
●Examine the interaction between cerebrospinal fluid and chronic spinal cord injury.
