Pathogens cause severe diseases that lead to human death and health complications. In the pathogenesis of infectious diseases, cell migration and tissue remodeling play crucial roles, influencing the progression and outcomes of infections. In response to microbial invasion, host cells undergo dynamic changes, including migration to sites of infection and participation in tissue remodeling processes. Therefore, understanding the mechanisms underlying host cell adhesion and migration, and tissue remodeling in infectious diseases is critical for developing innovative therapeutic interventions.
