About this Research Topic
The primary objective of this Research Topic is to disseminate the most recent research findings and developments in AI, with a particular emphasis on their practical applications in gynecology, obstetrics, laparoscopy, robotics, pathology, optimization, and other related fields. The goal is to explore how AI can be integrated with technological advancements in the surgical field, potentially combining pre-operative information with intra-operative data to allow for more precise and personalized surgical procedures.
In order to gain further insights into the boundaries of AI in gynecological surgery, we welcome articles addressing, but not limited to, the following themes:
• The application of AI in optimizing patient selection;
• Identifying predictive factors for response using AI;
• The role of AI in improving oncological and obstetrics outcomes in patients with gynecologic diseases;
• The challenges and limitations of integrating AI in gynecological surgery;
• The future of AI in gynecological surgery.
