About this Research Topic
In this Research Topic, our focus is on critical aspects of arrhythmia diagnosis and treatment also in the context of precision medicine, offering a comprehensive overview of the current state-of-the-art. We aim to facilitate clinical decision-making and enhance patient outcomes through original research, clinical trials, and reviews. To accomplish this, we will highlight data concerning not just the understanding of the pathophysiological nature of arrhythmias, but also of patient management.
Researchers are encouraged to submit Clinical Trial, Mini Review, Original Research, Review, Systematic Review, Case Report, General Commentary, and Opinion articles that are relevant to this Research Topic, addressing crucial elements of arrhythmia diagnosis and management, encompassing a broad array of topics including, but not limited to:
• Advances in electrocardiographic techniques
• Role of imaging in arrhythmia evaluation
• Precision biomarkers and genetic markers
• Precision pharmacology in treatment strategies
• Catheter ablation techniques, including advancements in mapping technologies and ablation strategies for various arrhythmia substrates.
• Role of implantable cardiac devices, including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronization therapy
• Multidisciplinary approaches to arrhythmia care with a precision medicine perspective
