About this Research Topic
This Research Topic will sum up the main content of this symposium addressing the current issues around surgical and non-surgical treatment of laryngeal cancer. In particular, the collection is focused around the following themes, which will be treated in invited review articles:
1. Open partial or transoral laryngectomy – total laryngectomy today.
2. Non-surgical organ preservation and new technologies laryngeal radiation.
3. Managing-prevention complications in larynx surgery – salvage surgery.
4. Future trials for systemic treatment in laryngeal cancer.
We also welcome spontaneous submissions on the treatment of laryngeal cancer and laryngectomy.
Please note: Manuscripts consisting solely of bioinformatics, computational analysis, or predictions of public databases which are not accompanied by validation (independent clinical or patient cohort, or biological validation in vitro or in vivo, which are not based on public databases) are not suitable for publication in this journal.
