About this Research Topic
This Research Topic aims to foster fresh concepts and approaches to control swine viral disease by uncovering new insights and the latest research innovations in swine viral diseases. There is an urgent need to understand all aspects of swine viral diseases. These include protein interaction, signaling pathways, immune escape, neutralizing antibodies, management approaches, diagnostic methods, experimental models, vaccines, transmission, and anti-viral drugs, etc.
We welcome submissions of Original Research, Reviews, and Mini-reviews on the following subtopics, which include but are not limited to:
1. Detection and diagnosis of swine diseases, immune responses, and related indicators
2. Modes of transmission of viral diseases of swine
3. Pathogenesis, infection, transmission, and omics mechanisms of swine pathogens
4. Management and analysis of viral diseases in pig herds
5. Veterinary medicine against viral disease in swine
6. Development in swine disease vaccines
Keywords: one health, livestock, viral disease
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements.
