About this Research Topic
Integrating high-throughput technologies like single-cell sequencing, transcriptome sequencing, mRNA chips, protein chips, 16S rRNA sequencing, protein mass spectrometry, etc. with bioinformatics analysis enables identification of factors related to common orthopedic diseases (bone injury, cartilage injury, peripheral nerve injury, central nerve injury, soft tissue injury, bone tumor, etc.) from a genetics standpoint. With the help of traditional molecular biology techniques such as RT qPCR, WB, ELISA, etc., we can delve deeper into the pathogenesis of these diseases. This approach facilitates the exploration of fresh schemes and strategies for treating common orthopaedic diseases, thereby providing initial research support for the transformation of novel treatment methodologies for these diseases.
We welcome submissions of original research papers, reviews, case report, clinical trial, data report, hypothesis & theory, methods, and opinions, including (but not limited to) research on the following sub-themes:
• Genetic research on bone injury.
• Genetic research on cartilage injury.
• Genetic research on peripheral nerve injury.
• Genetic research on central nerve (brain and spinal cord) injury.
• Genetic research on soft tissue (muscle, ligament and blood vessel) injury.
• Genetic research on bone tumor.
