About this Research Topic
The widespread adoption of new energy vehicles, such as electric vehicles (EVs) and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles (HFCVs), is a crucial force in achieving low-carbon transportation, yet it still faces difficulties and challenges. On one hand, it is necessary to ensure that electric and hydrogen energy supplied for new energy vehicles is sourced from clean energy, such as wind and photovoltaic power generation, to prevent a mere shift of carbon emissions from vehicle operation to the energy supply stage. On the other hand, comprehensive research and exploration are essential in areas such as the construction of supporting infrastructure (such as charging stations and hydrogen refueling stations), mechanism design, and technological practices to facilitate their widespread adoption. Furthermore, conducting in-depth studies on the strategic interactions among various stakeholders in the transportation network and proposing corresponding policy proposals also contribute to driving the transition towards clean and low-carbon transportation. This comprehensive research effort aims to address the challenges associated with the promotion of clean energy, providing practical solutions to achieve the goals of green and low-carbon transportation.
