About this Research Topic
While immunotherapy has achieved success in treating specific solid tumors, it confers significant benefits to only a minority of patients. Current research has identified numerous individual signaling pathways that influence cancer cell proliferation, metastasis, and drug resistance. Nonetheless, the complexity of signaling pathway networks constrains the successful clinical application of individual signaling molecules or gene targets. To address this challenge, an in-depth understanding of the functions and regulatory mechanisms of key signaling networks associated with tumor progression is essential, paving the way for the development of novel chemotherapeutic agents and targeted treatments.
This research initiative seeks to highlight recent advancements in the study of critical cell signaling networks within the context of cancer chemotherapy and immunotherapy. We welcome submissions in various forms, including original research, concise reviews, perspectives, and methodologies. The following topics are of particular interest, though not limited to:
1. Exploration of immune regulatory networks influencing cancer progression and prognosis.
2. Key signaling pathways involved in cancer initiation and metastasis.
3. Biomarkers predicting patient responses to immunotherapy and chemotherapy.
4. Understanding the crucial cell signaling networks influencing immune responses.
5. Utilizing single-cell genomics to unveil critical cancer signaling networks.
