About this Research Topic
The purpose of this Research Topic is to gather a collection of articles reflecting the latest developments in quantum algorithms and computational complexity for different quantum computational models. We are interested not only in fundamental research but also in practical applications including the implementation of algorithms for current quantum devices.
We invite researchers to submit their theoretical or experimental contributions on topics including but not limited to:
• quantum algorithms
• quantum query model
• quantum circuits
• quantum automata
• quantum stream processing algorithms
• quantum communication complexity
• models of quantum computation
• quantum cryptography
• quantum machine learning
• hybrid algorithms
• quantum complexity theory
• quantum information theory
• tensor networks
• adiabatic computing
• quantum error correction
Keywords: Quantum Algorithms, quantum computing, quantum automata, quantum communication complexity, tensor networks, hybrid algorithms, quantum complexity theory, quantum information theory, adiabatic computing
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
