About this Research Topic
This research topic aims to explore the latest innovations in winemaking, focusing on how new technologies and methodologies can enhance wine quality, sustainability, and consumer experience. Specific questions to be addressed include: How do novel fermentation techniques impact the sensory attributes of wine? What role can nanotechnology play in improving wine stability and aroma? How can advanced analytical tools like metabolomics and genomics be utilized to better understand wine composition and quality? By investigating these questions, we hope to uncover new insights that will drive the future of winemaking.
To gather further insights in the evolving landscape of winemaking, we welcome articles addressing, but not limited to, the following themes:
• Innovative winemaking technologies and their impact on wine quality and sensory attributes
• Advances in fermentation technologies, including the use of novel yeasts and controlled fermentation techniques
• Implementation of cutting-edge analytical tools for wine analysis, such as metabolomics, proteomics, and genomics
• Utilization of nanotechnology and microencapsulation in improving wine stability, aroma, and nutrient delivery
