About this Research Topic
The Digital Mental Health Section of Frontiers in Digital Health is pleased to be launching this Research Topic to highlight themes from the European Society for Research on Internet Interventions (ESRII) 7th Conference 2023.
“The theme of the ESRII 2023 conference is “United in Diversity” in mental health science, routine care practices and digital technologies. Diversity will be expressed in terms of the variety of target groups to be addressed, cultural identities, methodological innovations such as AI, therapeutical framework developments and technological innovations. With this theme we aim to embrace diversity, equity and inclusion in science and routine mental health care with a specific focus on the next generation of multidisciplinary researchers and scientists’ practitioners” (ESRII, 2023).
This Research Topic is open to public submissions, as well as those based on talks given at the conference. We welcome all article types accepted by Frontiers in Digital Health & Frontiers in Psychiatry.
Suitable themes for manuscripts (based on the conference tracks) include:
- digital monitoring for diagnosing and treatment in mental health research and service delivery
- innovations in mental health research methodologies from AI to Network Analyses and MOST
- blended care approaches in mental health for common and complex psychiatric disorders
- digital mental health for hard to reach and difficult to engage populations
- translational research methods in digital mental health, implementation and upscaling
