About this Research Topic
This Research Topic aims to develop and refine communication models between robots and other conscious beings, exploring the underlying theories, identifying existing problems, and proposing innovative solutions. The primary objectives include answering specific questions about the efficacy of current communication techniques, testing hypotheses related to task allocation and sharing in multi-robot systems, and enhancing real-time communication networks for robots. By addressing these aims, the research seeks to bridge the gap between theoretical models and practical applications, ultimately improving the functionality and efficiency of robotic systems.
To gather further insights into the communication dynamics in robotic systems, we welcome articles addressing, but not limited to, the following themes:
- Communication in robots
- Human–robot communication
- Communication techniques and theories between multiple robots
- Communication techniques and theories between robots and conscious beings
- Task allocations in multi-robot systems
- Task sharing in multi-robot systems
- Real-time communication networks for robots
