About this Research Topic
This Research Topic marks the third anniversary of Frontiers in Electronic Materials.
Under the leadership of Field Chief Editor Prof. Ctirad Uher, our Gold Open Access journal has continually advanced research in the design, fabrication, characterization, and application of electronic materials.
The goal of this Research Topic is to reflect on our progress over the past two years, showcasing ongoing research and novel developments. We invite authors to address key challenges and explore future directions within their sub-disciplines, including:

• Piezoelectric Materials
• Semiconducting Materials and Devices
• Superconducting Materials
• Thermoelectric Materials
We welcome all article types, with a special emphasis on Reviews, Mini Reviews, and Perspectives that offer insights and propose future innovations in these dynamic fields.
