The advent of generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) has transformed many fields, including computer vision, chatbots, and imaging processing. Such models entail significant interaction with humans and impact many aspects of research and life, opening new avenues for exploration and understanding. Notably, by engaging with LLMs, individuals are exposed to a unique cognitive experience involving language comprehension, generation, and decision-making. This interaction not only provides insights into the underlying cognitive processes of human language understanding but also offers an opportunity to investigate how the brain adapts and responds to the dynamic interplay between human cognition and AI-driven language models. On the other hand, the utilization of LLMs in neuroscience research has revolutionized the field, offering novel avenues for exploration and understanding. These models, powered by advanced natural language processing capabilities, enable researchers to analyze and extract valuable insights from vast amounts of neuroscience literature. By employing techniques such as text mining, semantic analysis, and knowledge extraction, large language models facilitate the identification of patterns, relationships, and trends within the vast landscape of neuroscientific knowledge. They provide a powerful tool for discovering hidden connections, generating hypotheses, and informing further investigations. Moreover, LLMs assist in the interpretation of neuroimaging data by leveraging their language understanding capabilities to uncover meaningful patterns and extract contextual information.
