About this Research Topic
Emerging evidence indicates that certain parasites such as Schistosoma Haematobium, Opisthorchis viverrini and Clonorchis sinensis are one of the major causative agents of bladder cancer and cholangiocarcinoma, respectively, in endemic regions. Therefore, understanding how these parasites cause/promote oncogenesis and its etiology in humans will aid in the development of novel treatment strategies in effectively controlling the infection-associated malignancy.
