About this Research Topic
Nanocomposites can be modified according to the needs of electrochemical sensing. These needs encompass the selectivity and sensitivity towards the targeted analyte. The type of constituents of the nanocomposites affects the selectivity and sensitivity of detection. In addition, the electrochemical sensing mechanism hinges on the type of nanocomposite and elucidation of the electrochemical detection mechanism greatly improves the understanding of the type of nanocomposite best suited for a targeted analyte without interference from common interferent.
We welcome the submission of Original Research, Review, Mini Review, and Perspective articles on themes including, but not limited to:
• Fabrication technology and development of electrochemical sensors and biosensors
• Single Nanoparticle Electrochemistry
• Simultaneous detection of analytes
• 3D printed electrochemical sensors
• Amperometric, potentiometric and impedometric sensing of metal ions and drugs
• Simulation of electrochemical sensors.
