About this Research Topic
This research topic aims to compile Brief Research reports that significantly advance our understanding of emotional regulation and well-being. The primary objective is to gather original research and preliminary findings that address key questions in the field. These include identifying neural correlates of emotion regulation, understanding the brain systems involved, and exploring the interplay between emotional regulation and well-being. Negative results and reports on the non-reproducibility of previously published findings are also accepted, fostering a more comprehensive and transparent scientific discourse.
To gather further insights in the field of emotional regulation and well-being, we welcome articles addressing, but not limited to, the following themes:
- Neural correlates of emotion regulation using advanced imaging techniques
- Brain regions, systems, or networks involved in social emotion regulation
- The interplay of emotion regulation and well-being
- Emotion regulation, well-being, and addiction disorders
- Impaired emotion regulation
- Psychotherapeutics for emotion dysregulation
