About this Research Topic
To celebrate World Sea Turtle Day (June 16th, 2023) we aim to highlight novel sea turtle research through this Research Topic. We invite scientists, conservationists, and experts from various disciplines to contribute their original research and perspectives to advance our understanding of sea turtles.
The scope of this Research Topic is broad, encompassing many disciplines of sea turtle research. We welcome contributions covering a wide range of topics related to turtles, including, but not limited to, the following:
- In-water animal behavior
- Nesting biology
- Habitat use
- Threat assessment
- Conservation management
We also encourage submissions from underrepresented regions. For any specific questions, please reach out to Professor Hector Barrios-Garrido at hector.barrios@kaust.edu.sa.
