About this Research Topic
Led by Field Chief Editor, Professor Jonathan Cooper, Frontiers in Lab on a Chip Technologies serves as a Gold Open Access multidisciplinary journal, aiming to disseminate influential and high-impact research on all topics related to fabrication and use of micro and nano-scale technology.
The goal of this Research Topic is to reflect on the past year, showcase ongoing cutting-edge research and novel developments, and to discover new insights and outlook on the future of the field as a whole.
Authors are encouraged to consider the greatest challenges in their respective sub-disciplines, and how to address those challenges within:
• Environmental Sensors, Sustainability and Reaching Net-Zero
• Imaging and Detection
• Medical Diagnostics
• Micro- and Nano-Total Analysis Systems
• Micro- and Nano-fabrication
• Micro- and Nano-fluidics
• Organ on a Chip
All article types are welcomed as part of this Research Topic. Reviews, Mini Reviews, and Perspectives are particularly encouraged.
