About this Research Topic
This Research Topic is to improve our understanding of new strategies in neuroprotection and neurorepair. This body of research includes clinical research, basic study, neural pathways, neurotransmitter systems, molecular mechanisms, immune mediators, therapeutic drug targets, surgical manner, physical therapy technology updates, multidisciplinary cutting-edge technology, etc. It is important to better study drug therapy, operative treatment, and physical therapy, to formulate therapeutic strategies for clinical use. Active, effective, and reasonable treatment strategies can significantly reduce the burden on patients and society. We hope this research topic can discover new strategies in neuroprotection and neurorepair further.
This Research Topic will discuss the latest advances in our understanding of the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of neurological injuries. We aim to generate a translational perspective of these issues through research and review articles ranging in scope from animal models to human studies. The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
• Effect and molecular mechanism of drug therapy
• New therapeutic drugs
• Surgical manner
• physical therapy technology
• multidisciplinary cutting-edge technology
The current Research Topic “New Strategies in Neuroprotection and Neurorepair” welcomes manuscripts that are focused on investigating new therapeutic strategies in neuroprotection and neurorepair. Authors are encouraged to submit original articles, review articles, and short communications associated with this Research Topic.
Keywords: neuroprotection, neurorepair, clinical research, basic study, new strategies
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
