About this Research Topic
The design and operation of water and wastewater treatment systems have significantly improved due to quick technological breakthroughs and the accessibility to cutting-edge scientific tools. The difficulties facing the treatment systems have grown more complex as a result of changing lifestyles, including the usage of numerous pharmacological chemicals, cosmetics, and health care goods.
Researchers developed sustainable water and wastewater treatment systems for managing, monitoring, treatment, and modelling. Those systems are either environmentally friendly or made from environmentally friendly materials and result in environmentally friendly products or by-products.
We welcome manuscripts (original research articles and review articles) addressing various theoretical and practical aspects of Environmentally friendly solutions for water and wastewater from management, treatment, development, process design, process operation and control, supply chain, product performance evaluation, and modelling. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
- Water treatment and supply.
- Wastewater treatment and discharge.
- Artificial intelligence and modelling.
- Sludge handling and disposal.
- Recover/Recycle/Reuse.
Keywords: Sustainability, water, wastewater, green technologies, management, treatment, modelling
