About this Research Topic
Global excellence in Virology: Latinoamerica aims to shed light on the recent progress made across the entire breadth of the virology field and reflect on the future challenges faced by researchers across Latin-American countries. This research topic seeks to connect most of the investigators, clinicians, public health authorities, research and academic institutions of Latin-America currently developing studies in the virology sphere by exchanging their experiences, research and field data, and opinions through a broad range of article submission types including original research, methods, reviews and minireviews, perspective, case reports, and so forth.
