About this Research Topic
The objective of this Research Topic will be to enhance the capacity of scientific members and other stakeholders, such as industry partners, to develop and implement effective mitigation strategies, as well as use tools for the implementation of effective climate migration policies. In doing so, multiple organizations can contribute to better governance as embodied in SDGs frameworks. Such active cooperation and partnerships shall facilitate the governance and management of climate change with SDGs standards. This Research Topic will be committed to supporting stakeholders to enhance cooperation among institutions. It is also working on several interventions to strengthen management of climate change policies for sustenance.
The subject of this Research Topic is very important and relevant for the global Socioeconomic progress considering the critical aspects of climate change and its impact on economy and also a very burning issue of food security and to combat malnutrition.
The task of GHGs mitigation is very challenging and needs to be met in the face of the changing consumption patterns, impacts of the climate change and degradation of the finite land and water resources. Management of land resources, in general, and potentially cultivable lands in particular, encompasses crop production methods that will keep pace with food needs, sustaining environment, blunting impacts of climate change, preserving and enhancing natural resources, and supporting livelihood of farmers and rural population.
This Research Topic welcomes Original Research, Review, Mini Review and Opinion articles focusing on microbial mediated mitigation strategies for removal of GHGs with reference to carbon sequestration.
