About this Research Topic
Led by Field Chief Editor, Professor Tsong-Long Hwang, Frontiers in Natural Products is a Gold Open Access, innovative journal specializing in the evolution, synthesis and functions of natural products, and the computational methods used in the design and discovery of biologically active natural materials.
The goal of this Research Topic is to reflect on the past year, showcase ongoing cutting-edge research and novel developments, and to discover new insights and outlooks on the future of the field as a whole.
Authors are encouraged to consider the greatest challenges in their respective sub-disciplines, and how to address those challenges within:
• Biological Activities of Natural Products
• Informatics and Computational Methods
• Isolation and Purification
• Natural Product Biosynthesis
• Structural and Stereochemical Analysis
All article types are welcomed as part of this Research Topic. Reviews, Mini Reviews, and Perspectives are particularly encouraged.
