About this Research Topic
The aim of this Research Topic is to highlight what is available for use in precision nutrition as well as future directions and opportunities for developing precision nutrition clinical protocols. Among the types of manuscripts that will be included are research reports that demonstrate newly validated approaches for implementing precision nutrition protocols. Also, reports of new research methods for the discovery and validation of new precision nutrition protocols. These may include, but are not limited to, new statistical methods for evaluating studies, artificial intelligence methods to assess data sets, clinical trials that can access individual responses, and more. Reports that demonstrate new approaches to precision nutrition will be especially beneficial since they add to the repertoire of available methods than can be used to assess outcomes. Finally, studies that demonstrate statistically significant clinical benefits to an integrated program would be welcome.
All studies submitted for this Research Topic should follow scientifically sound research methodologies with rigorous statistical validation. Opinion and perspective articles may be considered for publication, but require a very high level of importance and novelty. We thank you for considering this issue for publishing your relevant research and we look forward to receiving your contributions.
