About this Research Topic
This Research Topic is a celebration of the 1-year anniversary of Frontiers in Membrane Science and Technology (in March 2023).
Led by Field Chief Editor, Professor Michael D. Guiver, Frontiers in Membrane Science and Technology serves as a Gold Open Access multidisciplinary journal, aiming to disseminate influential and high-impact research on all topics related to synthetic membranes.
The goal of this Research Topic is to reflect on the past year, showcase ongoing cutting-edge research and novel developments, and to discover new insights and outlook on the future of the field as a whole.
Authors are encouraged to consider the greatest challenges in their respective sub-disciplines, and how to address those challenges within:
• Membrane Applications - Energy
• Membrane Applications - Gas and Vapor
• Membrane Applications - Liquid
• Membrane Formation and Structure
• Membrane Modules and Processes
• Membrane Transport, Modeling and Simulation
All article types are welcomed as part of this Research Topic. Reviews, Mini Reviews, and Perspectives are particularly encouraged.
