Bone and soft tissue sarcomas are serious diseases that endanger human health, especially in adolescents and middle-aged people. The incidence of bone and soft tissue tumors is increasing, and the mortality did not decrease in recent years. Nanomaterials and drug delivery systems have attracted the attention of many researchers and become a new trend in sarcoma therapy. The rationale is obvious: nanoparticles accumulate into tumors and allow the local delivery of high concentrations of anticancer drugs while sparing healthy tissues. 3D-printed technology, which has high precision, accuracy, and customizable characteristics, has also open new perspectives in the individual-based treatment of bone and soft tissue tumors. The main purpose of this RT is to give an overview of the recent research on the treatment of bone and soft tissue tumors and to emphasize the research related to drug-loaded nanomaterials.
