About this Research Topic
To address the research gap, this Research Topic strives to validate the feasibility and re-evaluate the benefits of adopting new information technologies for OSH management. Researchers are encouraged to discuss the current achievements and remaining challenges faced by different stakeholders with insights and approaches for up-taking these technologies.
Authors are invited to present original research or review articles that will stimulate the continuing efforts in deploying Industry 4.0/5.0 for OSH management. This Research Topic aims to solicit relevant techniques, directions, strategies, and solutions to improve OSH management with advanced information technologies under Industry 4.0/5.0, sub-topics include but are not limited to:
• Solutions to new OSH challenges amid the era of Industry 4.0/5.0 featuring information technologies;
• Emerging design approach for OSH management based on AI/ big data/IoTs /VR/AR and other information technologies;
• Real-time OSH monitoring systems with wearable sensors and other information technologies;
• Empirical studies for validating the feasibility and benefits of adopting information technologies for OSH management;
• Public buy-in for information technologies in OSH management;
• Life cycle assessment and cost & benefit analysis for information technologies in OSH management;
• Trends and strategies in promoting information technologies in OSH management
• Social-technical issues (e.g., Human-technology interaction) in adopting Industry 4.0/5.0 technologies for OSH management
