About this Research Topic
Nowadays, with the development of new technologies and implants, it has been possible to reduce the risk of complications and the number of surgeries in patients with EOS. Furthermore, new surgical instrumentation allows for minimally invasive treatments in patients with EOS or for rod lengthening without surgery. Therefore, sharing new findings on the latest developments in surgical techniques and instrumentation for treating EOS is crucial to address this type of pathology adequately.
This special issue aims to report the latest literature and research regarding surgical techniques and new instrumentation for treating EOS.
The scope of the research topic is to provide high-quality evidence about novel approaches for EOS patients. Systematic reviews, clinical trials, observational studies, case series, and surgical techniques will be considered.
