About this Research Topic
The aim of this research topic is to provide a comprehensive view of the consequence of the interactions between nutrition and immunity on the individual susceptibility to infectious diseases within the context of diet-related metabolic diseases. Review highlighting the future directions of the field and methodological articles on innovative food solutions that may restore immune function are both welcome.
We welcome contributions on understanding of how nutrition, foods, and dietary patterns modulate immune surveillance at any time of the life from people with diet-related metabolic diseases. The submitted manuscripts will undergo peer review and may include original data.
