1. Interaction of skin microbes with host cells
2. Synthetic biology approaches for optimizing the beneficial skin microbes for treatment of skin disorders
3. Novel action mechanisms by which beneficial microbes improve skin health
4. Advanced methods such as teledermatology and digital therapeutics, which can apply current skin microbiome research to improve human skin health
Keywords: human skin microbiome, microbe-host interaction, skin health, skin disorders, teledermatology
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
