Many countries have developed comprehensive cancer control strategies which address primary prevention, screening, early diagnosis, follow-up, surveillance, and survivorship. There is growing interest in roles for primary care in all these areas, as it has the potential to deliver improved cancer outcomes in a cost-effective way.
This research topic aims at examining the current status of primary care-based cancer control in the world.
