About this Research Topic
Mapping and ablation of arrhythmias have been popularized in various centers, but there are still bottlenecks in the treatment of catheter ablation of some refractory complex arrhythmias, such as persistent atrial fibrillation and organic ventricular tachycardia. Therefore, high-quality mapping is very important for understanding the mechanism of arrhythmias and developing appropriate ablation strategies.
In this Research Topic, we would like to create a forum for current advances on method or technologies of mapping and ablation in complex arrhythmias.
We welcome Original Research, Systematic Review, state-of-the-art Review and challenging/informative case series in ablation strategy of complex arrhythmias, and method or technologies of mapping, in the topic of, but not limited to:
- Novel techniques and approaches to arrhythmia mapping and ablation
- Driver mapping method and technologies in persistent atrial fibrillation (AF)
- Ablation strategy of persistent AF, such as driver ablation and ablation for extra-PV maintenance substrate
- Mapping and ablation strategies for ventricular tachycardia (VT) patients with organic heart disease or other special diseases
- The clinical translational application of the mathematical analysis method or model of the VT/VF or AF
- The relationship between anatomical structures and the formation of the arrhythmia
- Big data analysis on arrhythmia ablation strategies
